Car Stereo Repair for NO DISPLAY Note - Do It Yourself Repair instructions will load slowly. I have purposely kept file sizes large so no details will be missed. This particular car stereo is manufactured by Alpine. Alpine does not have any technical support, either in literature or parts for the repair of this car stereo. We have spent many hour on the troubleshooting of this car stereo to the defect causing No Display. |

![]() Our Do It Yourself Repair Instructions for NO DISPLAY works with two different Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep Car Stereos. The five and three band equalizer car stereo with joy stick fade/balance control. |

![]() Tools needed for this repair will be a Phillips Screw Driver, Flat Head Screw Driver, Solder Pencil and Solder. If you have a Solder Gun, do not attempt these instructions, you will botch this repair. |

![]() Start by removing on screw from side of top cover. |

![]() Remove one screw from back of car stereo top cover. |
|||||
![]() Remove second screw from back of car stereo top cover. |
|||||
![]() Lift cover on car stereo and remove. |

![]() If you have jump ahead and removed the front display printed circuit board (PCB), you will notice a burn mark on the lower right hand corner of the display. I have been emailed and called hundreds of times, will I sell this display. The answer is NO! This burn mark on the display is not the problem with this car stereo. I have never replaced a display crystal when it comes to repairing this car stereo unless it was damaged by a car accident. You would see a noticeable crack in the display crystal. If this is the case, these instructions will be useless in attempting the repair for No Display. |
