Honda CRV How to Remove Front Dash Speaker

Honda Dash Speaker Removing, Replacing and Installing 1.1) Gently pry back edge of front dash speaker grill up releasing clips. All clips release with pry pressure.
Honda Dash Speaker Removing, Replacing and Installing 2.1) Lift entire back edge of front dash speaker grill up.
Honda Dash Speaker Removing, Replacing and Installing 3.1) Pull front dash speaker grill and speaker assembly back from front of dash releasing hooks on forward edge of grill.

Honda CRV How to Remove Front Door Panel and Speaker

How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 1.1) Gently pry top edge of triangular panel from top of door panel releasing clips. All clips release with pry pressure.
Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 2.1) Remove triangular panel, check silver clips on panel. Remove clips left on door and install on panel.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 3.1) Locate door panel lock pin at front of door panel.
Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 4.1) Push center tab on lock pin in approximately 1/8 inch to unlock.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 5.1) Gently pry entire lock pin assembly from door panel.
Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 6.1) Remove lock pin assembly from door.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 7.1) When reinstalling lock pin, push center tab back through base approximately 1/8 inch.

How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 9.1) With base flush to door panel, push center tab in flush to base.

How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 11.1) Remove insert panel and set to side.
Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 12.1) Remove one exposed screw from cavity.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 13.1) Remove second exposed screw from cavity.
Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 14.1) Pull door handle assembly from door panel.

Note - There are two ways to process from this step dealing with the door handle assembly, see steps 15 - 19 or steps 33 and 34.

How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 15.1) Pull door handle assembly forward for access to connector for door lock switch.

How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 17.) Locate door handle linkage and lock. Lock in this picture is brown.

Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 22.1) Gently pry front edge of control panel from arm rest releasing clips.

How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 25.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove.

27.2) Remove control panel and set to side.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 28.1) Pry rear bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips.
Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 29.1) Work across bottom of panel to front, then up front and rear edges of panel releasing all clips.
Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 30.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door, checking for all clips being released.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 31.1) Lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam over door lock pin.

Honda Speaker Removal, Replacement and Installation 33.1) Pull top edge of door panel back, twist door handle assembly to pass through opening in door panel.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 34.1) Door handle assembly will hang in place ready for reinstallation.
How to Remove, Replace and Install Speakers 35.1) With top edge of door panel away from door, locate wire bundle secured to door panel.

38.2) Set door panel to side.

Honda CRV How to Remove Rear Door Panel and Speaker

Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 1.1) Gently pry top edge of small triangular panel top back edge of door panel releasing clips. All clips release with pry pressure.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 2.1) Remove panel and set to side.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 3.1) Locate exposed door panel lock pin from triangular panel removal.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 4.1) Push center tab on lock pin in approximately 1/8 inch to unlock.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 5.1) Gently pry entire lock pin assembly from door panel.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 6.1) Remove lock pin assembly from door.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 7.1) When reinstalling lock pin, push center tab back through base approximately 1/8 inch.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 8.1) Push only base of lock pin into opening on door panel.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 9.1) With base flush to door panel, push center tab in flush to base.

15.2) Lock has opening on one side, swing lock away from door handle linkage to release.

Replacing, Removing and Installation 17.1) Remove one screw back of door panel in opening under arm rest.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 18.1) Remove one screw at front of opening under arm rest.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 19.1) Gently pry front edge of control panel from arm rest releasing clips.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 20.1) Work down side of control panel to back releasing clips.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 21.1) Lift control panel up from door panel.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 22.1) Locate connector on back of control panel.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 23.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 24.1) Remove control panel and set to side.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 25.1) Pry rear bottom edge of door panel from door releasing clips.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 26.1) Work across bottom of panel to front, then up front and rear edges of panel releasing all clips.
Replace, Remove and Install Speakers 27.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door, checking for all clips being released.
Replacing, Removing and Installation 28.1) Lift back edge of door panel up out of window jam.
