| Note - These instructions are a short cut to removing and installing speakers. The full procedure requires rear seat and deck removal and is presently not available. | |||||

1.1) Locate speaker in trunk. | ||||

2.1) Remove first 10 mm bolt at edge of speaker. | ||||
![]() |
3.1) Remove second 10 mm bolt at edge of speaker. | ||||

4.1) Remove third 10 mm bolt at edge of speaker. | ||||

5.1) From back seat, lift edge of rear speaker grill. | ||||
![]() |
6.1) Lift speaker grill up to allow speaker grill mounting post to lift out of hole and clear rear deck. | ||||

7.1) Reach under speaker grill and lift grill cover up to have all three mounting posts clear rear deck panel. | ||||
![]() |
8.1) Slide remaining third corner of speaker grill cover toward rear window to release tab and remove speaker grill cover. | ||||

9.1) Special tool needed, 90 degree screw driver. | ||||
![]() |
10.1) Remove first of four speaker mounting screws. These screw locations can be found by looking down onto rear deck through rear window. | ||||

11.1) Remove second mounting screw. | ||||
![]() |
12.1) When the rear deck is put together at factory, speakers are mounted into rear deck. Then a thin layer of insulation is placed down onto the rear deck and covered by the rear deck panel. | ||||

13.1) The insulation placed onto rear deck during installation may cover speaker mounting screws. Cut a slot into the insulation material to allow access to the mounting screw. NOTE - IMPORTANT! Any and all cuts made during this process should not reach past the edges of the speaker grill. After installation of speaker, speaker grill cover will hide all cuts to rear deck. |

14.1) Remove exposed screw. | ||||

15.1) Cut any material from speaker mounting screw for access and remove screw. | ||||

16.1) From trunk side, locate connector at speaker. | ||||
![]() |
17.1) Squeeze trigger on connector into connector to release. | ||||
![]() |
18.1) Remove connector. | ||||
![]() |
19.1) Lift edge of speaker from rear deck. | ||||
![]() |
20.1) Lift speaker past rear deck panel and remove. | ||||
