Mitsubishi Lancer Rear Deck Speaker Removal and Replacement

How to Install Speaker, Remove and Replace 1.1) From the trunk side of the rear speaker.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 2.1) First white tab to side of speaker, squeeze tab to release lock.
How to Install Speaker, Remove and Replace 3.1) While squeezing tap, pushing up to release through small opening on rear deck.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 4.1) Push tab up to keep from locking back into place.
How to Install Speaker, Remove and Replace 5.1) Second white tab, repeat release procedure.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 6.1) Third white tab, repeat release procedure.
How to Install Speaker, Remove and Replace 7.1) From top of rear deck, grasp speaker grill.
How to Replace Speakers, Remove and Install 8.1) Remove speaker grill and set to side.

How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 1.1) At front top edge of door panel, gently pry small cap from door panel.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 2.1) Remove cap and set to side, remove exposed screw.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 3.1) Arm rest hand hold, gently pry small cover from bottom of opening.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 4.1) Remove cover and set to side.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 5.1) Remove exposed screw from hand hold.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 6.1) Lift hand hold up from arm rest, remove and set to side.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 7.1) At rear edge of door panel, gently pry small cap from door panel.

How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 9.1) Door open handle cavity, gently pry back edge of small cover from panel.

10.2) Remove exposed screw.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 11.1) Gently pry top edge of door handle trim panel up using door lock switch for leverage releasing clips.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 12.1) Gently pry bottom edge of door handle trim panel up using door handle for leverage releasing clips.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 13.1) Pull door handle trim panel over door handle.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 14.1) Remove door handle trim panel and set to side.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 15.1) Gently pry back edge of control panel from arm rest releasing clip.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 16.1) Grasp back edge of control panel and lift up.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 17.1) Pull control panel back to release front hook from arm rest.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 18.1) Remove control panel from arm rest cavity.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 19.1) Release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 20.1) Release trigger on second and any remaining connectors to disconnect and remove.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 21.1) Remove control panel and set to side.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 22.1) Gently pry bottom back edge of door panel releasing clips. All clips release with pry pressure.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 23.1) Work along bottom of door panel releasing clips.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 24.1) Work up front and rear edges of door panel releasing clips.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 25.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door, all clips should be released.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 26.1) Lift rear edge of door panel up out of window jam.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 27.1) Slide door panel back to release front of door panel from under upper panel, lift door panel up out of window jam.
27.1) Remove panel and set to side.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 28.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 29.1) Pry all remaining door panel clips from door.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 31.1) Place door panel clip into slot on door panel ready for reinstallation.
How to Remove Speakers, Replace and Install 32.1) Release trigger on connector at speaker to disconnect and remove.
How to Install Speakers, Removal and Replacement 33.1) Remove screws securing speaker to door.
33.2) Remove speaker.
