Step 1.1) Remove T25 Torx screw at back edge of arm rest.

NOTE - These removal instructions are performed by my 13 year old. Our instructions make the removal process for car stereos and speakers easy.

Step 2.1) Remove T25 Torx screw below door open handle.

NOTE - When payment is complete at Paypal, click on "Return to Car Stereo Removal, LLC" for direct access to instructions. Also, check your In Box/Junk Mail folder for email from No-Replay@carstereoremoval.com with subject "User and Password for Carstereoremoval.com" for access.

Step 3.1) Remove T25 Torx screw above door open handle cavity. (Tweeter located next to screw in this picture is a previous aftermarket add-on and is not standard for this vehicle.)

NOTE - For many car stereo removals, we include tips and instructions for aftermarket stereos. These instructions say Installation or Tech Tips for Install.

Step 4.1) Place pry tool at back edge of control panel.

NOTE - There are many DIY (Do It Yourself) projects in this website such as power antenna mast replacement and AC control display repairs.

Step 5.1) Push pry tool in under panel and pry up to release clip.

NOTE - Troubleshooting guides are available for the Corvette Bose audio systems.

Step 6.1) Grasp back edge of control panel.

NOTE - Troubleshooting guides for the Fiber Optic Mercedes Benz audio system are available.

Step 7.1) Pull control panel back to release front edge from door.
Step 7.2) Pull control panel from door panel.

NOTE - For repair of your factory audio equipment see Repair.

Step 8.1) Squeeze trigger into connector to release.

NOTE - Minor DIY repair steps are available for scratchy or erratic car stereo volume controls.

Step 9.1) Remove first connector.

NOTE - Removal instructions aid in the addition of Ipod, MP3, XM, Sirius and other auxiliary input adaptors to your existing factory car stereo.

Step 10.1) Squeeze trigger into connector to release.

NOTE - Removal guides include help with aftermarket amplifier bypass cable installations.

Step 11.1) Remove second connector.

NOTE - Car stereo wire harness diagrams are posted on the website for help with aftermarket car stereo installation. We suggest purchasing the aftermarket wire harness.

Step 12.1) Squeeze trigger into connector to release.

NOTE - Aftermarket speaker installation includes Tech Tips for correct speaker phasing for best sound quality.

Step 13.1) Remove third connector.
Step 13.2) Remove control panel and set to side. (Passenger side control panel has fewer connectors.)
Step 14.1) Gently pry top edge of small tweeter panel from door releasing clips. All clips release with pressure.
Step 15.1) Pry down front edge of door panel releasing clips.

NOTE - Factory service bulletins and extended warranties are posted on the web site for specific equipment.

Step 16.1) Continue prying down front edge of door panel releasing clips.

NOTE - Over 9000 different year, make, model instructions are posted for car stereos, front speakers, rear speakers, front tweeters, subwoofers, amplifiers and CD changers.

Step 17.1) Continue prying along bottom edge of door panel releasing clips.

NOTE - Instructions include troubleshooting defective speakers.

Step 18.1) Continue prying up back edge of door panel releasing clips.

NOTE - Instructions include tips for problem areas and aid in reinstallation of the equipment.

Step 19.1) Pull bottom edge of door panel away from door to verify all door panel clips are released.
Step 20.1) Lift back edge of door panel up then the lift front edge of door panel  out of window jam.
Step 21.1) Pull door open handle while pulling door panel from door.

NOTE - We post many European model removal instructions.

Step 22.1) Turn the door panel while guiding door handle through opening.

NOTE - Some installation guides include tips for aftermarket speakers, which is cheaper than dealerships prices.

Step 23.1) Release door handle, pull top edge of door panel back for access to the back of the panel.
Step 24.1) Locate wires at tweeter, trace back to connector.
Step 25.1) Release clip on connector securing wires to door panel.
Step 26.1) Squeeze trigger into connector to release.
Step 27.1) Remove connector.
Step 28.1) Locate side view mirror adjustment.
Step 29.1) Behind edge of door panel, locate connector for side view mirror.
Step 30.1) With small flat head screw driver, lift trigger on the side of the connector to release.
Step 31.1) Remove connector, remove door panel and set to side.
Step 32.1) Check door for any remaining door panel clips.
Step 33.1) Pry door panel clips from door to remove.
Step 34.1) Place door panel clips into slots on door panel ready for reinstallation.
Step 35.1) Remove screws securing door speaker.
Step 35.2) Remove speaker and disconnect connector.
Step 36.1) With small flat head screw driver, lift triggers on sides of tweeter to release and remove.
