Toyota Altise How to Remove and Install Car Stereo
(Australia and New Zealand)
|1.1) Pry lower left side panel from dash releasing clips. All clips release with pry pressure.|
|2.1) Pry lower right side panel from dash releasing clips.|
|3.1) Remove exposed screw on left.|
|4.1) Remove exposed screw on right.|
|5.1) Set parking brake, shift to lower gear and unscrew gear shift knob.|
|6.1) Pry back edge of center console panel up releasing clips and remove panel.|
|7.1) Pry right side of front lower dash panel from dash releasing clips.|
|8.1) Pry left side of front lower dash panel from dash releasing clips.
8.2) Remove lower dash panel, release connector from panel or set panel toward left side of center console.
|9.1) Pry right side of AC vents from dash releasing clips.|
|10.1) Pry along edges of AC vents to release all clips.|
|11.1) Pull AC vent assembly from dash, release trigger on connector to disconnect and remove.|
|12.1) Remove one exposed mounting screw on right in AC vent cavity.|
|13.1) Remove one exposed mounting screw on left in AC vent cavity.|
|14.1) Below car stereo remove one mounting screw on right.|
|15.1) Below car stereo remove one mounting screw on left.|
|16.1) Pull bottom of car stereo forward from dash.|
|17.1) Pull top of car stereo forward from dash.|
|18.1) Remove antenna and all connectors from car stereo to remove.|
