Toyota Avalon How to Remove and Install Factory Car Radio
Factory Car Stereo Removal
   
Toyota Avalon CD player removal, replacement and install 1.1) Remove panel from around car stereo by pulling forward releasing eight clips.
1.2) Disconnect emergency flasher and AC sensor connectors from panel.
   
Toyota Avalon radio replacement, removal and install *NOTE - Be sure to reconnect emergency flasher connector.

2.1) Remove four screws securing car stereo and climate control to dash.
2.2) Pull unit forward from dash, disconnect climate control, two antenna leads and car stereo connectors.
2.3) Remove from dash.

   
Toyota Avalon car stereo replacement, removal and install 3.1) Remove four screws from bracket on side of climate control.
   
Toyota Avalon removing, replacing and installing car cd player 4.1) Remove one screw securing bottom of climate control.
   
Toyota Avalon removing, replacing and installing car radio 5.1) Remove one screw securing top of climate control.
   
Toyota Avalon removing, replacing, and installing car stereo 6.1) Remove four or eight screws in brackets, (eight if you own the single CD player), from both sides of car stereo.

CD Player Removal, Replacement and Install

Toyota Avalon How to CD Changer Removal

Replacing, Removing and Installing CD Player 1.1) Pry all plastic clips securing side panel to car.
CD Player Removal, Replacement and Install 2.1) Twist center screw from anchors and remove anchors along edge of trunk opening.
2.2) Lift side cover from side of car over CD changer.
Replacing, Removing and Installing CD Player 3.1) Eject CD cartridge if possible.
CD Player Removal, Replacement and Install 4.1) Remove one 10mm screw from side of CD changer bracket securing CD changer to side wall.
4.2) Pull up carpet from back of trunk to allow access to two 10mm screws securing CD changer to floor of trunk.
Replacing, Removing and Installing CD Player 5.1) Disconnect connectors and remove CD changer.
   
Front and Rear Speaker Removal Presently Not Available
