Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install

How to Remove Front Door Panel and Speaker for Volkswagen Passat

Installing, Removing and Replacing Speakers 1.1) Pop off cover from door handle pull. (This is a bit tuff).
1.2) Remove two exposed screws.
Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install 2.1) Remove two screws from along bottom edge of door panel.
Installing, Removing and Replacing Speakers 3.1) Pull door panel away from door starting at bottom releasing clips.
Speaker Removal, Replacement and Install 4.1) Disconnect door open handle cable by releasing two little clips.
4.2) Pull two clips and plastic assembly with cable from door panel guide by pulling away from hook.
4.3) Release door handle cable hook. (See next picture).
4.4) Disconnect all connectors.

How to Remove Rear Door Panel and Speaker for Volkswagen Passat

Replacing, Removing and Installing Speakers 1.1) Pop off cover from door handle pull. (This is a bit tuff).

Replacing, Removing and Installing Speakers 3.1) Pull door panel away from door starting at bottom releasing clips.

4.2) Pull two clips and plastic assembly with cable from door panel guide by pulling away from hook.
4.3) Release door handle cable hook. (See next picture).
4.4) Disconnect all connectors.
